Shirley’s fascination with art began at an early age while she and her mother frequented museums across the river in New York City. Her European heritage coupled with an innate ability to interpret, understand, and translate an artist’s expression in their works led to her obtaining a BA in Art History from Emory University, an MBA and ultimately an Art Business Certificate from NYU in 2010.
Shirley Rollins began her career as a business strategy consultant, thereby providing an institutional structural framework for her art advisory practice. Together with her husband and two boys, they are avid collectors of emerging and mid established artwork over the last 20 years. She is an active supporter of the MoMA, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, and The New York Academy of Art. Shirley served on the Benefit Committee of the New York Academy of Art.
Capitalizing on her extensive knowledge and relationships with artists, galleries, auction houses and art school communities, founder Shirley Rollins established Partner in 2013 with a mission to bridge the divide between art enthusiasts and the art world establishment. Partner is a leading contemporary art advisory service representing a growing group of diverse emerging art collectors, located in the NY metropolitan area.
